To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Automation Engineer-Robotic Arm located in Suzhou SIP.
Reporting to the Automation Manager, the Automation Engineer- Robotic Arm role involves…
What a typical day looks like:
61 Lead and coordinate BU/Automation vendor to implement Suzhou site nonstandard automation projects and track progress.
61 Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals, develop customized robotic arm solutions based on BU requirements.
61 Responsible for non-standard automation evaluation, solution research and development.
61 Automation project management(opportunity capture/feasibility evaluation/ risk assessment/ proposal review/ specification define/ machine buy-off).
61 Existing automation equipment troubleshooting/ upgrade and integration.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
61 Bachelor for Electrical engineering or Robot engineering, at least 5years relevant work experience.
61 Familiar with industrial robots include ABB/KUKA/FANUC/Nachi, robots include UR/Jaka robotics, can troubleshoot and program robot used for assembly/test/packing automation integration.
61 Experience with robotic control software such as ROS, C , Python or LabVIEW.
61 Conduct robot layout simulation, select the correct robot model, prepare technical proposal, Communicate with PLC team about interface and commissioning.
61 Proficient in 3D vision guide robotics application, knowledge and experience in robot or PLC related application is preferred.
61 Experience with vision-guided robotics and integrating cameras/sensors for automated inspection or pick-place tasks.
