Position Headline:
Ensuring strategic procurement for the assigned material fields,in which case the potential for bundling all sites /projects of the Groups /Regions isexploited to achieve the best conditions based on delivery excellence.
Areas of Responsibilties:
1. Organize and execute regional and cross-regional bundling of the demands of the different Groups/ sites anprojects for optimum utilization of procurement power.
2. Analyze demand,markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy.
3. Define an implement the procurement,supply and bundling strategy in order to achieve the maximum profitcontribution to the corporate targets.
4. Conduct price and contract negotiations with contract conclusion to guarantee security of suppliers at the bestconditions.
5. Undertake supplier management (Jointly with partner functions,e.g. specialist department,Q.logistics,etc.) inorder to obtain the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain, by quality and on time delivery.
6. Define concepts for risk and contract management to avoid risk and warranty costs.Edit and check defined information and key data across divisional and Group boundaries.
7. Maintain intensive regular contact with internal / external inerface partners in order to recongnizedevelopments (market,demand,etc.) and exert the appropriate influence.
8. Edit and check defined information and key data across divisional and Group bundaries in order to makeresults transparent and control procurement activities so as to optimize results.
9. Break down (material-related) target firgures into dicisions/sites to define strategies and set the correspondingtargets.
Inerdisciplinary workgroup/project work to stay informed,exert influence,and optimize internal processes andprocedures.
